PACKING TIPS FROM UNITED PROME VAN LINES:
Big pieces of kitchen utensils such as glass and porcelain plates, platters, other flat pieces are better to use as the lowest layer in a box. Wrap each piece individually (better in a piece of any type of fabric) and then bundle in a one or two layers of newspaper.
Try not to leave empty space in a carton. Better to add crushed paper there to avoid damage.
Use a separate piece of clean paper or fabric to wrap each piece of glassware or fine china. Then wrap these pieces with another layer of newspaper. Place all piece in a carton depending on the size and weight.
